Jacques Marie Mage MOLINO - BORDEAUX EMPIRE (JMMML-R7) is a wide, rectangular '60s-inspired sunglass frame — part of a limited production batch of 400 handcrafted pieces. Named after Carlo Mollino, this iconic model exemplifies rebellious sophistication through an astute mix of volume, balance, and subtle beveling. Sculpted from 10mm cured cellulose acetate in polished red, it features custom double-laminated temples with clear exteriors and red interiors. Accented with signature sterling silver arrowhead front pins, silver palladium spur-shaped rivets, and custom 7-barrel hairline-engraved hinges in silver palladium that reveal an exposed classic wirecore. Fitted with dark 6-base Armorlite Deep Brown sun lenses (Cat. 3, 10% VLT) with a backside anti-reflective coating, it stands as a handcrafted heirloom with a flair for the sensual and poetic.
