DUTIES AND TAXES

Shipments to destinations outside the EU may be subject to import taxes or customs duties. These charges are the sole responsibility of the consignee, who must pay the amount due to the shipper or the relevant authorities. It is up to the customer, in order to ensure that the parcel is cleared through customs, to provide all necessary information and/or pay the relevant fees. If the package is not cleared through customs, it will be returned to our warehouse.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have made a return and requested an exchange of the product you originally ordered, the new shipment may be subject to import taxes by Customs Authorities.


DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS

For the e-commerce service, Ottica Mondello S.n.c. di Mondello Piera e C. makes deliveries using the specialized courier DHL.

Mondello Optics S.n.c. di Mondello Piera e C. will ship the goods within 24/48 hours from the acceptance of the confirmation of the transaction.

Delivery times are 2-3 working days for Europe and 3-5 working days for the rest of the world.

The purchased good is delivered to the address indicated by the Customer in the purchase procedure. Any specific needs must be proposed by the Customer to Ottica Mondello S.n.c. di Mondello Piera e C.

Through a link contained in the acceptance of the purchase order, or by using the codes referenced directly on the DHL Courier website, the Customer can check the status of the shipment of their order.

In the event of non-delivery due to the absence of the recipient at the address indicated by him in the order, the courier will leave a notice and try again a second time; if the recipient is still absent, the goods will be returned to the sender (Ottica Mondello S.n.c. di Mondello Piera e C. in Rome, Via Gregorio VII, 320/322).

Upon delivery, the Customer is required to verify that the package is intact, not damaged or wet. Only after this verification, the Customer will have to accept the delivery, otherwise, he will be required to reject the package.

If the goods arrive at their destination broken or damaged, Ottica Mondello S.n.c. di Mondello Piera e C. undertakes to replace the product at its own expense, only and exclusively if the recipient has ascertained the breakage or damage in the presence of the courier who made the delivery or if he has indicated on the receipt document ACCEPTANCE WITH RESERVE.

If there is no correspondence between the order and the goods delivered, the Customer must promptly raise the dispute by calling +39 06 633982 or by sending an e-mail to hello@mondello1962.com
