Jacques Marie Mage FELLINI - BORDEAUX EMPIRE (JMMFE-R7) is a refined rectangular frame with a wide fit, handcrafted in Japan as part of a limited production batch of 350 pieces, part of the exclusive JMM eyewear collection. Originally released in 2020 and inspired by the great Italian filmmakers of the radical 60s, these assured and subtly idiosyncratic spectacles are designed to elicit a new frame of mind. Meticulously sculpted from 10mm cured cellulose acetate in polished red with custom double-laminated temples featuring clear exteriors and red interiors, the frame is finished with sterling silver signature arrowhead front pins, exposed 'Spiketail' wirecores plated in silver palladium with hairline-engraved American Southwest motifs, custom 9-barrel hinges, and spur-shaped rivets. Outfitted with Armorlite 4-base deep brown sun lenses (Cat. 3, 10% VLT) with a backside anti-reflective coating, the Fellini seamlessly transforms life s realities into an utterly original autobiography full of heart and unexpected humor.
