Our parents founded this photography shop in 1962 with the name “Foto Lampo”.

Since then we got to know our customers through the joy of their memories, printed on hundreds of pictures we developed in our dark-room. We had the desire to also give them spectacles to live the best moments of their lives through high quality eyewear. Together with Piera, we became "Ottica Mondello".

A boutique in the heart of Rome that shows off our passion for the eyewear universe. After more than 50 years, Leonardo took over the family business,  constantly researching new innovative, exclusive, cool brands and launching Mondello's e-commerce.
